Test your knowledge during Filipino American History Month (FAHM). Our County of San Diego Filipino-American Employee Association (CSDFEA) has put together a trivia challenge for employees.

One randomly selected challenger will get to choose a local nonprofit to receive $50 from CSDFEA. Everyone who completes all of the trivia questions (regardless of score) will be entered. The randomly selected participant will be announced Nov. 2.

FAHM is celebrated during the month of October to commemorate the first recorded presence of Filipinos in the continental United States, which occurred on Oct. 18, 1587, when “Luzones Indios” came ashore and landed at what is now Morro Bay. With over 4 million Filipinos in the U.S. today, FAHM brings awareness of the significant role that Filipinos have played in American history.

CSDFEA is celebrating all month long with several virtual events and activities. Stay tuned to InSite for information.
