Don’t Miss ‘One Book, One San Diego: Library Fiesta’

County Library and Indigenous Sovereign Nations Employee Resource Group will host the “One Book, One San Diego: Library Fiesta” at Valley Center Library on Sept. 28.

Activities include a performance by Ballet Folklórico de Fallbrook, lotería, lowriders, food demonstrations, photo booth, crafts, face painting, community partners information and more.

There will also be a story time, talk and book signing with María Dolores Àguilar, the author of “Barrio Rising: The Protest That Built Chicano Park.” This book is the kids selection of One Book, One San Diego for 2024.
